How can I submit design layouts (photos)?

Once you place the order, you can upload files to dropbox.com or Wetransfer.com and send share link to Support@pathfindersalbum.com when we get link will download files and send proofs to you confirm, if everything is ok, i will go ahead your order.

If you need another way to uploading, please write email to us, will reply you other ways for uploading. Thanks

What‘s the album turn around time?

The album making time is about 10days, the shipping time is about 3 work days. So you receive albums in approximately 2 weeks after the layouts are approved.

If need design service, will finish design layouts after 3-4 days when I get photos.

Are all albums free shipping?

Yes, all albums are free shipping (include USA,AU,CA,UK,EU, other country please contact us), except sample album need extra pay US$25.0.

What kind of payment methods do you offer?

We accept PayPal and western union.

Where can I download template for design by myself?

All template is PSD format, you can use it by photoshop software,please email support@pathfindersalbum.com, will send template to you.

How do I place an order?

All orders are taken online on our website, click “Get Started” and process the order using the web-based shopping cart. If any questions, you way to get one-on-one help is by using Live Help or sending us an email.

Do I have to pay in full before getting order started?

Yes, each album order must be paid in full before work is performed.

How can I review an order?

You can review any order you've placed by visiting "My Orders". On your My Orders page you'll be able to review order,order date, grand total, status and delivery estimate. You can see more details by clicking your digit order number under orders. Once you click your order number you can see the item(s), unit price, unit quantity, unit total and shipping price. You can also review your address, shipping method, payment method and delivery estimate.

Are there discounts on sample albums?

Yes,30%discount on custom samples, but all custom sample are imprinted with “Display Sample-not for resales” on inner layout. Also offer Free Pre-made sample,Learn more details from our Samples webpage. Just need extra pay US$25.0 for sample album.

What kind of photographic paper do you use for your prints? Do you offer metallic paper?

We use the highest quality professional paper available: Fuji Crystal Photographic Paper. Matt and glossy two options

We also offer Kodak metallic paper.

Is it free for Velvet drawstring dust bag packing?

Yes, All albums will use good quality velvet drawstring dust bag packing for free.

Which is more popular ，the matt printing or glossy printing?

90%clients like matt printing ,matt is more popular.

How thick are the album pages?

Two options : one is approximately 0.8mm and another is approximately 1.2mm thick. They are same price.

Usually more than 50sides(25spreads),use 0.8mm thinner page to control the weight of the album.

What type of page-spread options do you have?

We offer panoramic flush mount albums which do not have any gap between the left and right pages. Printing is extending across the entire spread.

Do you do color correction for layout before printing?

Yes, all layout will do color correction as our professional staff experience before printing.

If you have special requestions for color, please contact us, we will don’t do color correction for your album.

What‘s the difference between glass and acrylic cover?

Glass and Acrylic cover are all very clear and shine from the outside.but the material is difference,Acrylic is made of top quality perspex , and the glass cover is made of toughened glass.

Can i get a Refund?

If you cancel an order or report a damaged item, we can refund you based on the circumstance. Please send an email to support@pathfindersalbum.com. Be sure to include your order number, state the issue, and include photos of the problem. The support team will then contact you to work on a resolution.

We refund payment to you by Paypal within 2 work days.

What happens if i received a damaged product?

If you received a defective or damaged product please email support@pathfindersalbum.com . In your email, please include:
1) Order number
2) Name of the project
3) Pictures demonstrating the damage

Pictures are required in order for the support team to review and compare what was ordered and what was made. If it was an issue as a result of manufacturing or packaging, we will order a reprint of your project to be made and shipped to you.

Design Service

What’s the bleeding size ?How does the bleed area work?

All albums need to be trimmed. The trim line is a RANGE, it’s not a Exact Line, it will sometimes be trimmed less and sometimes more, don’t reply on trim always being done in the same place. it is called bleed size, When you open any size template, the blue line will be seen on your PSD files. The blue line is away from edge to 0.5cm, the final album will be trimmed about 0.5cm. so do not put anything you want preserved in the bleed.
If you want an image to extend all the way to the edge do NOT stop at the blue line. You must go PAST the red line all the way to the edge. If you stop at the blue line your book will most likely print with a background line.

What image resolution should my images be?

300 resolution images for best print quality.

What’s the specs for design layout files settings?

- 300 Resolution
- sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile

What design style does your offer? How long does it take to complete a design? How many revisions?

We offer two custom design styles. Based on your choices, we will create a custom style suited to you and your clients needs. You can choose “Simple Style”, “Contemporary Style”for every album.

First Design version is completed within 4 business days. Unlimited revisions till your approved it.

How much does the design service cost?

The Cost is US$1.5 per pages, two pages for one spreads.

How many images should I send to you for design layout?

Usually 5 images per spreads, if you do 10spreads(20pages), need about 50 images, if do 15spreads(30pages), need about 75 images. You can submit 10 more images than what you ordered, so that designers are able to choose the best to fit in the layouts.

Where do you ship to?

We ship world wide to 32 countries, including United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, UK, Europe, Singapore, Taiwan, India, and Phillippines. All orders shipped will be delivered using DHL or TNT. It will take about 3 work days. , will give you a tracking no.when we ship your album.
